FREE Estimates

Using our online estimator tool, you can see approximately how much a solar system for your home or business will cost. We will also be happy to discuss your options directly. You can use the contact form, or call us at (845) 626-2627. You will need to know how much electricity or hot water you use in order for us to get an idea of what size system you need.

Site Assessments

Will solar work at my house or business? We get this question all the time. The answer is yes or possibly no. There is no way to really know until a site assessment is made. Site assessments are a very valuable tool for the property owner to help understand how a solar system works and where best to install it. Using a Solar Pathfinder and associated software, Sun Volt Solar will evaluate your property and find the best location for a solar system, be it photovoltaics or solar hot water heating.

These site assessments include shading analysis, estimated system production, potential utility savings, and a written report. Since this includes a good deal of work, we charge $200.00 per site assessment. This fee is deducted from the cost of a solar system if you decide to purchase the system from us.

Equipment Sales

Sun volt solar is an authorized dealer for SunWize photovoltaic and wind power systems, King Solar Products and Inventroment for ECO-GFX heat Exchangers. We also sell AET (Alternative Energy Technologies) solar thermal collectors, storage tanks, controls and complete water heating kits. Visit the products page or contact us for more information

Installation

Sun Volt Solar offers complete system design and installation for both photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. Want to do it yourself? We can help with that.

Repair and Maintenance

Do you have an older system that isn't working or isn't working properly? Can't find anyone to come look at it? Give us a call and we'll see what we can do. Sometimes an older system is shot, sometimes it is not. There is no way to tell unless we see it for ourselves. Re-roofing your house and need the collectors removed? Call us, our labor rate is $55.00 per hour. We also offer maintenance contracts on systems we have installed. Contact us for more information
